NOTICE TO CAPTAINS

Please read all of the information and note all of your immediate responsibilities for entering your team in the 2009 USTA League Tennis Southern Sectional Mixed Doubles Championships, October 16-18, 2009 in Jackson, MS

• Online registration will be available on Thurs. Aug 20th.

• All players will register online by clicking here. Captains and players must register with their team number. This is the same team number used to register at the beginning of the local mixed doubles season on tennislink.com. If you are not sure of your mixed doubles team number, please check with your captain or your State League Coordinator.

• Team captains must email their State League Coordinator (see below) within seven days of their state tournament and confirm their team will advance to USTA Southern Sectional tournament, Oct.16-18, 2009.

• Captains meeting, Thurs. Oct.15th at the Hilton of Jackson. Team registration beginning at 5:00pm and meeting to follow at 6:00pm.

• A minimum number of players, 3 men and 3 women must be registered online within two weeks of the state mixed doubles tournament on the team will be replaced in the draw.

• Late registration fee of $25.00 per player will incur for all players registering after Oct. 5.

Captain's Meeting!

The Captain's Meeting will be hosted at the Hilton of Jackson, Thursday, Oct.15 at 6:00 p.m. The captain may sign in his/her team beginning at 5:00 p.m. and a short meeting to follow at 6:00 p.m.!

Captain's Reception!

There will be a private Captain's Reception at Ruth's Chris Steak House in the Renaissance at Colony Park, 1000 Highland Colony Parkway, Suite 6001, Ridgeland, Miss. 39157, Thursday, Oct. 15, from 7-8:30 p.m. The Ruth's Chris management team will include a $25 gift card in every player's bag that you can use at our Ridgeland location. Player Party!

This year's Player Party with hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, music by Mo' Money and dancing will be at the River Hills Club on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 7:00-10:00 p.m.

Look for the trolley service to and from the Hilton of Jackson. There will be a cash bar and the guest fee is $20. Click for more information.
